The Board of directors of GMR Kalinga Solar Power Limited on July 08, 2026, upon receipt of the first tranche of subscription amount, has allotted equity shares to GEL and Grasim in the ratio of 71:29. By virtue of the aforesaid allotment, the status of GKSPL changed from a wholly owned subsidiary to a step-down subsidiary of the Company.This is further to our earlier disclosure dated November 24, 2025, regarding incorporation of GMR Kalinga Solar Power Limited (“GKSPL”), as a wholly owned subsidiary (“WOS”) of GMR Energy Limited (“GEL”), a WOS of the Company, for development of ~ 10 MW captive solar power generating plant on a design, build, finance, operate basis in Kamalanga, Odisha.
