Mr. Sandeep Gokhale (Age 64 years) holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree and an MBA in Finance. He is a seasoned corporate strategist and project finance expert with nearly 40 years of experience across the engineering, financial services and natural resources sectors. He currently serves as an Advisor to the JSW Group and holds directorships on the boards of several companies of the JSW Group. He began his career in 1984 at Siemens Limited in engineering and sales, followed by a role in ICICI’s project financing division, where he evaluated techno-economic viability and risk. In 1993, he joined Sterlite Industries (later Vedanta Resources), eventually serving as Director of Business Development and driving global mining asset acquisitions and government affairs. From 2009 to March 2022, he served as Group President – Business Development at JSW Group, leading strategic initiatives, asset valuations, joint ventures, and project financing across the natural resources, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. Throughout his career, he has collaborated extensively with major government departments, financial institutions, banks, law firms, and consultancy agencies to drive project development, capital raising, asset valuations, restructurings and strategic joint ventures.
