He has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion and entry, business development, licensing, M&A and portfolio creation across India, the United States, Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, China, Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. His experience encompasses the end-to-end pharmaceutical value chain, including CDMO partnerships, generics, APIs, sales and marketing, international business management, business development, supply chain management, R&D, operations, portfolio strategy, public health and access-led partnerships. Prior to his current role, Mr. Deepak served as Chief Executive Officer – Custom Pharmaceutical Services, where he led a global CDMO business serving innovator pharmaceutical companies across the United States, Europe and Japan. During 2011–2015, he held senior leadership positions as Vice President – Global Generics Business Development and Senior Director – Global Generics Portfolio Management. Mr. Deepak Sapra holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur, and a Master's degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He was also a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship at the University of Bradford, UK, and a Fulbright Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
