The building has Basement and Ground Plus 6 floors with 4 floors of IT server racks (~250 racks per floor). The strategic initiative of Employer is to become a Cloud Service Provider, offering Collocation and Managed Cloud Services. The key objectives of the projects are listed below: a. Setup state of the art next generation Tier-III Data Centre to offer Managed Cloud Services to customers. b. Maintain highest standards of Quality of service to customers with minimum or no service disruption. c. The Data Centre should be scalable both vertically and horizontally to address future expansion. d. The Data Centre will offer colocation as soon as Civil and Mechanical & Electrical works are completed. Further managed cloud services (Infrastructure as a Service) will be offered on the supplied IT infrastructure envisaged in this BOQ. In future, Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) are also planned to be offered. e. Supply, install and commissioning of IT infrastructure of 25 racks to offer managed cloud services along with setting up of partial Disaster Recovery Data Centre (DR) f.
