On 19th June, 2026, Rama Investment Company Private Limited has acquired 12,90,773 equity shares of Dalmia Bharat Limited (representing 0.69% of its present paid up capital) pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation for merger of Maj Textiles Private Limited (“Transferor Company 1”), Dalmia Renewables Energy Limited (“Transferor Company 2”), Dalmia Sugar Ventures Limited (“Transferor Company 3”) and Dalmia Solar Power Limited (“Transferor Company 4”) with Rama Investment Company Private Limited (“Transferee Company”). The said Scheme has been sanctioned under Fast Track Merger route by the Regional Director, South Eastern Region vide Order dated 28th April 2026, which became operational from 26th May 2026 with effect from the Appointed date i.e. 1st April 2025.
