| Textual Information(1) | Notes to unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026: 1. The above results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors at their respective meetings held on October 14, 2026. The Joint Statutory Auditors have carried out limited review of the results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. 2. The Company had received Show Cause cum Demand notices (“SCNs”) from the Department of Telecommunications (“DOT”), Government of India, for the financial years from 2005-06 to 2020-21, demanding license fees amounting to Rs. 3,160.63 Crores (March 31, 2026: Rs. 3,160.63 Crores, September 30, 2025: Rs. 3,160.63 Crores and June 30, 2026: Rs. 3,160.63 Crores). The demand includes interest and penalty, computed up to the date of respective notices. The Company has made representations to DOT, contesting the basis of such demands. Based on the opinion of a legal expert, the Company is confident that it has strong grounds on merit to defend itself in this matter. Accordingly, the Company is of the view that no provision is necessary in respect of this matter. 3. As per Ind AS 108 - Operating Segment segment information has been provided under the Notes to Consolidated Financial Results. 4. The Financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025 and year ended March 31,2026 as reported in the Statement have been subjected to limited review/audit by one of the joint auditors and the reports of that joint auditor on these comparative financial results dated July 16, 2026, October 15, 2025 and April 17, 2026, respectively, expressed an unmodified conclusion/opinion. |
