4 Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Special Range – 6, Bangalore 21-Jan-2020 For Assessment Year 2012-13, the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Special Range - 6, Bangalore has passed order under section 147 rws 143(3) making disallowance of certain expenses and raised demand of Rs.7.59 Crores. Aggrieved with the order, the Company has filed an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals). Pursuant to disposal of some litigations for Assessment Year 2012-13, the Assessing Officer has passed an order and granted refund of Rs.12 Crores. The National Faceless Appeal Centre has passed order dated February 13, 2026 directing the Assessing Officer to verify certain details and allow relief to the Company.

The Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Circle 6(1)(2), Bangalore has passed order under section 143(3) and made disallowance of deduction claimed by the Company and raised demand of Rs.16.82 Crores. Aggrieved with the order, the Company has filed an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals). Subsequently, the Assessing Officer has passed order under section 154 and reduced the demand to Rs.Nil The National Faceless Appeal Centre has passed order dated February 13, 2026 and allowed the appeal.

Aggrieved with the order, the Company has filed an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) The National Faceless Appeal Centre has passed order dated January 08, 2026 and aprtly allowed the appeal. Pursuant to the said order, the Assessing Officer has passed an Order giving effect dt February 06, 2026 and granted refund of Rs. 43 crores.
