2 Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Ferozepur Compounding of Rs. 10,000/- 23-Jan-2026 The Inspector Legal Metrology Officer inspected the Subsidiary’s Ferozpur Store. The Department of Legal Metrology issued a notice to the Company (Vishal Mega Mart Limited), related to the contents of the label alleged under Section 18/36 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009. The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the compounding fee imposed. There is no material impact on operations or other activities of the Company due to the said order. The Company is reviewing the Order and evaluating next steps.
3 Additional District Magistrate, Azamgarh Penalty of Rs. 50,000/- 30-Jan-2026 Food Safety Officer conducted an inspection of the Subsidiary’s Store. During the course of the inspection, the Officer collected samples of various food products stored at the premises. Upon analysis, it was found that one of the sampled products Saboodana” was not in the confirmation of the relevant provision of the Laws. Subsequently, the Food Safety Officer filed a complaint before the Additional District Magistrate, Azamgarh, alleging violation of the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Pursuant thereto, a penalty of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) has been imposed upon the Subsidiary. The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the penalty imposed. There is no material impact on operation or other activity of the Company due to the said order.

Food Safety Officer conducted an inspection of the Subsidiary’s Store. During the course of the inspection, the Officer collected samples of various food products stored at the premises. Upon analysis, it was found that one of the sampled products Ragi aata” was not in the confirmation of the relevant provision of the Laws. Subsequently, the Food Safety Officer filed a complaint before the Additional District Magistrate, Aligarh, alleging violation of the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Pursuant thereto, a penalty of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) has been imposed upon the Subsidiary. The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the penalty imposed. There is no material impact on operations or other activities of the Company due to the said order. Since it is a third party Manufactured product, the penalty amount will be recovered from the concerned Manufacturer.
