News Clarification by Tata Communications Limited

The media had reports that "TATA may sell stake in TATA Comm & TTML to Vodafone"

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Tata Communications Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "In this regard we would like to state that the Company is not aware of any such negotiations taking place as mentioned in the news article referred by you."

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We are not in possession of any unpublished price sensitive information, including in relation to any proposed sale of our shares.
