Market-wide Position Limit in NAGARFERT & BINDALAGRO

 

The derivative contracts in the underlying NAGARFERT & BINDALAGRO has crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on August 27, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of  NAGARFERT & BINDALAGRO by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The media had reports that NIIT Limited may sell 25% of its stake in NIIT Technologies to a strategic investor.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the companies.

 

NIIT Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "From the time of demerger in 2004, NIIT Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary Scantech Evaluation Services Limited continues to hold 25% stake in NIIT Technologies Limited (NTL), with a vision to attract strategic partners, if required, to help NTL with its next level of growth. There is no change in that position and no specific transaction to report."

The media had reports on August 25, 2007 that HTMT Global Solutions Ltd. is planning four buyouts in the range of Rs 80-400 crore.
