Market-wide Position Limit in IFCI and ARVINDMILL

 

The derivative contracts in the underlying IFCI and ARVINDMILL have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on April 25, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of IFCI and ARVINDMILL by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The media had reports that Madhucon Projects Limited has bagged an irrigation project of GNSS main canal in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Madhucon Projects Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"We wish to inform and confirm the news item of Madhucon regarding short listing for Catagery-1 Projects of GNSS Circle in Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh under the name of Madhucon Sinohydro JV and award of the work of investigation, designs and earth work, excavation GNSS Main Canal from Km 141.350 to Km 161.350 including construction of CM & CD works and distributory system to feed an ayacut of 8,000 Acres under GNSS in Kadapa District valued Rs.134.1 Crores under Package No.5/06 from the I&CAD Department, Government Andhra Pradesh."
