The media had reports that Sical Logistics Limited
may acquire a freight forwarding company.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or
otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market
place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the
officials of the company.
Sical Logistics Limited has vide its letter
inter-alia stated, "The Company has been looking at its presence in
freight forwarding business for quite some time now, but has not reached any
definitive agreement or concluded talks with any person/firm to acquire any
freight forwarding company; neither any proposal in this regard has been put up
to the Board of Directors of the company."
