NSE filed defamation suit in Hon’ble High Court of Mumbai

NSE has filed a defamation suit today, against an organization and its representatives who published unsubstantiated and misleading reports against the exchange. The exchange has sought withdrawal of those reports etc, as well as, has made a claim of Rs 100 cr (which can be revised upwards). These reports referred to algo trading mechanism etc.

As you know since inception, NSE has been maintaining a high degree of surveillance and integrity in its day to day operation, strictly adheres to the rules, regulations and guidelines issued by the regulators from time to time.

The matter is now pending in the hon'ble High Court of Mumbai.
