The media had reports that "Future Lifestyle Fashions gearing up to buy into six brands".

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Future Lifestyle Fashions Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We deny completion of any such transaction reported in the report, at this stage. We follow corporate governance policy of informing the shareholders with right information but refrain from commenting on any such news item pending any final and binding decision/investment made by the Board of the Company, to avoid any speculative activity. The Company is in process of doing due diligence and discussion on certain transactions, but so far has not finalised on any of such transactions."
