The media has reports on March 18, 2010 that Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited may buy a stake in Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Limited.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, “The news is false, untrue and baseless. The present promoters do not have any intention to sell their stakes to Apollo Hospital nor do they have any proposal for sale of their shares to anybody for that matter. The media has published news which is baseless and untrue without verifying the accuracy or authenticity.”
