News about Adhunik Metaliks Limited and
Amtek Auto Limited
The media had reports that Adhunik Metaliks Limited is in talks to sell its forging arm to Amtek Auto Limited.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the companies.
Adhunik Metaliks Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We do not comment on these speculative media reports. In case, any matter relating to our business and that of our subsidiaries is taken up by the Board of Directors of the company, we will intimate the Stock Exchanges and media, on such events or matters which have a bearing on the operational/ performance of the company as well as price sensitive information."
Amtek Auto Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We would like to state that the company as ongoing basis keeps on looking at viable opportunities which can suit best to its inorganic growth, but nothing has been finalised as yet. We do not comment on the rumours and speculative market reports. Further, we wish to state that in future if and when any acquisition takes place, the Company will comply with the provisions of the Listing Agreement and make the requisite disclosures accordingly."
