News about Sintex Industries Limited

The media had reports that Sintex Industries Ltd. may acquire US-based industrial composite moulder, Continental Structural Plastics for around $ 70-80 million.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

Sintex Industries Ltd. has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We have been scouting for acquisition in the US and European markets. In the US market, we are looking out for companies in the plastic automotive moulder segment. However, we can not comment on individual deal."
