Market-wide Position Limit in IFCI

 

The derivative contracts in the underlying IFCI have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on April 13, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of IFCI by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

News about Ruchi Soya Industries Limited

 

The media had reports on April 12, 2007 that Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd. may buy the Palm oil Business of Sical Logistics.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We may inform that the Company has no intention to buy any of the businesses of SICAL Logistics Ltd. However, we understand from one of the unlisted promoter group companies that it has struck out a deal with SICAL Logistics Limited (SICAL) for purchase of its entire shareholding in MAC Oil Palm Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SICAL which is engaged in palm oil extraction business in the state of Andhra Pradesh."
