The
media had reports that Raj Television Network Limited may enter into print
media segment and may acquire a Tamil newspaper.
The
Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information
reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of
the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Raj
Television Network Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We want
to be seen as a complete media house in the long term. To achieve this, we want
to enter into printa media business. This is our long term objective. At
present we don't have any proposal in our hand."
