The media had reports that the Promoters are in the process to sell stake in Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "As far as the Company is aware, there is no proposal of the promoters to sell the shares in the Company. The Company is constantly looking to add value to the shareholders and keeps considering various options and wil inform the exchanges in accordance with the Listing Agreement."

News about Oil India Limited and Videocon Industries Limited

The media had reports that Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited and Oil India Ltd may buy stake in Mozambique gas field of Videocon Industries Limited.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the companies.

Oil India Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "Oil India Limited (OIL) has not contributed towards the content of the ONGC Press Release "OVL and OIL sign definitive agreement to acquire interest in the Rovuma Area 1 Offshore Block in Mozambique" appearing in media on 10.06.2013. In this regard, ONGC has already withdrawn the said Press Release and factual position has been clarified by them. OIL has nothing further to add on this matter."

Videocon Industries Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We wish to inform you that there is no new information with the Company nor there is any event, which requires disclosure or intimation to the stock exchanges."
