The media had reports that "Thomas cook, SIS Prosegur in Race for Brink's Cash Mgmt Biz in India".

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Thomas Cook (India) Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated; "The Company has maintained that it has been, over the years, routinely meeting many companies to evaluate partnerships or investments. However, no substantive discussions have ever occurred with the firm indicated in the attached article. Further, the Company has no information which may have a bearing on the price/ volume behavior in our scrip."
