Market-wide Position Limit in  IFCI & NAGARFERT

 

The derivative contracts in the underlying IFCI & NAGARFERT have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on January 11, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of  IFCI & NAGARFERT by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

News about Omax Autos Limited

 

The media had reports on January 10, 2007 that Omax Autos Limited is mulling to set up a plant in Central India and is also scouting for a JV partner for exports market.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Omax Autos Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We have no specific plans to put a new plant in Central India. However, as informed earlier, there are plans to put up a new manufacturing unit in the state of Uttranchal. Further as informed , the Board of Directors at their meeting held  on October 24, 2006 have decided to establish a wholly owned subsidiary / joint venture / acquisition of business outside India / expansion of existing business. As such, there is nothing new."
