Omnitech Infosolutions Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"The company has no such information/announcement (pending announcement) which, in our opinion and to the best of my knowledge, could have a bearing on the price/volume behavior in the scrip of the company."

News about Manappuram Finance Limited

The media had reports that “Manappuram plans housing finance Co buy".

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Manappuram Finance Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, “The Company is considering diversification of its loan portfolio by entering into the home loan segment. Though the company has been considering different options for acquiring companies with a reasonable loan book for a meaning full diversification such concrete proposals have not been available to the company for consideration so far. However, the company could identify a non operating entity with a valid license from NHB for housing finance. There are discussions with the owners of the said company. The negotiations and due diligence is still in progress and no concrete and binding agreement has been entered into with the shareholders of the other company. Therefore the company could not disclose the identity of the company, nor is it sure that the deal will go through as of now to make a disclosure to the exchange in terms of clause 36 of the listing agreements."
