The media had reports that "Unitech
loses case against buyers of Gurgaon project at National Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commission (NCDRC)."
The Exchange, in order to
verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and
to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is
safeguarded, had written to the company.
Unitech Limited has
vide its letter inter-alia stated, “that the Company
has not received the said order. We will examine the order once it is received
and decide further course of action keeping in view the best interest of all
our stakeholders. This matter relates to a case of 24 people who have paid
approximately Rs 11 crore towards booking of apartment."

Steel’s UK unions call for June 22 strike."

Tata Steel Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "that Tata Steel UK
Limited ("TSUK" - indirect subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited) has
learnt of the strike from the press statement issued by the Unions. TSUK has
not received any formal notice from the Unions with respect to the said strike.
TSUK will issue appropriate statements upon receiving formal notice. Accordingly
the Company (Tata Steel Limited) will make necessary disclosures to the
exchanges and investors at the appropriate time."
