The media had reports that the potential sale of injectible medicine unit of Strides Arcolab Limited may get delayed or cancelled.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Strides Arcolab Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We wish to clarify that the news report is not based on any information from the Company and is purely speculative in nature."

Market-wide Position Limit in IRB

The derivative contracts in the underlying IRB have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on February 08, 2013. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of IRB by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.
