The media had reports that Atlanta Limited may set up a Disney-land-styled theme park in Gujarat.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

 

Atlanta Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The Company has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat during the 5th Vibrant Gujarat Summit dated January 12, 2011 for establishing an eco friendly entertainment city at Gujarat. The Company is engaged in infrastructure development on EPC and BOT basis and realty and has been exploring various opportunities for diversification. However, as on date plans for establishing eco friendly entertainment city are being worked out. As soon as any plans are firmed up and final sanctions received by us, we shall duly provide information on about the same as required under the Listing Agreement."
