The media had reports "M&M, 2 Others Vie for 19% in Pipavav Defence".

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "There are no negotiations/ agreements which the Company has entered into which requires disclosure under clause 36 of the listing agreement.

The Company is not aware of any information that has not been announced. The Company states that it is in compliance with provisions of Clause 36 of the Listing Agreements."
