However, as a policy and in the interest of its shareholders, the Company does not comment on any report relating to potential strategic initiatives. Any comment by the company on strategic initiatives that are preliminary in nature would otherwise be speculative.

Ind-Swift Laboratories Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The company's management hereby clarifies that there is no discussion in progress for selling the company. However, we are looking for investors as per our earlier disclosed plans for which, enabling resolutions were approved by the shareholders in the last AGM held in 2011. Company will inform the exchanges and public accordingly as and when there is any definitive agreement."
