News Clarification by Global Offshore Services Limited

 

The media had reports that Promoters and key shareholders are looking to exit the company and Promoter in talks with key shipping companies which may trigger open offer.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

 

Global Offshore Services Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"(i) the news item that appeared in "ET Now News Channel" dated February 4, 2014 is "incorrect". The Promoters have no plans to exit by selling their stake to any International Shipping Company; (ii) no negotiation for stake sale by the promoters has taken place."

News Clarification by Thomas Cook (India) Limited

 

The media had reports that the company may check into Sterling Holiday Resorts.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

 

Thomas Cook  (India)  Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"We are in preliminary discussions with various companies in the travel and related business including Sterling Holiday Resorts (India) Limited as an avenue for investment. There have been no definitive proposals that have been considered and approved by the Board of Directors of the company. If and when anything fructifies, we shall keep the stock exchanges informed in the prescribed manner."
