News about TVS Motor Company Limited
The
media had reports that TVS Motor Company Limited is likely to have finalised alliance with BMW.
The
Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information
reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of
the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.
TVS
Motor Company Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "In our
earlier letter dated July 09, 2012 wherein "we have clearly stated that
the Company is in talks with German Auto-maker, BMW's Motorcycle Division, BMW Motorrad for a technology tie up and that the Company will
keep the exchanges informed once finality is reached in this regard". We
wish to clarify that we have not released nor provided any further information
on this issue to anyone. We will keep the exchanges informed immediately we
reach finality in this regard."
