The media had reports that Dabur India Limited may acquire Ajanta Pharma Limited's OTC brand, 30-Plus.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company.

 

Dabur India Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated," We wish to clarify /inform you that though the Company is in discussion with Ajanta Pharma on the matter, nothing has been finalised yet. In case of any positive development in the matter, we shall inform you forthwith."

 

Ajanta Pharma Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The company is in discussion with Dabur India Limited on the matter, but nothing has been finalized yet. Further, we wish to inform you that in case of any positive development in the matter we shall forthwith inform the stock Exchange."

The media had reports that Japan’s Kokuyo Company Ltd may buy a majority stake in the Camlin Limited.
