News about Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited

 

The media had reports that Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited may merge its telecom business in the Punjab circle with Datacom.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "This is to clarify that presently the company is not providing any telecommunication services. Hence there is no question of merging its telecom business in Punjab Circle with Datacom Solutions Private Limited. We would like to state that one of our subsidiary i,e, HFCL Infotel Limited (HIL) is providing telecommunication services in Punjab Circle. HIL has also not yet signed any agreement with any body regarding the merging of its telecom business in Punjab Circle."

The media had reports on January 01, 2009 that Videocon Industries Limited and Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited have agreed to resolve the dispute regarding Datacom.

 

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

 

Videocon Industries Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"We wish to clarify  that there is neither any dispute with Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited nor any agreement being discussed with that company. Further, the company has never given any statement or any communication in this behalf."
