News about Reliance Petroleum Limited

The media had reports that Reliance Petroleum Limited has mandated a consortium of six international banks to raise $500 million.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

Reliance Petroleum Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We confirm that the Company has executed a Facility agreement to raise USD 500 million for the refinery project at Jamnagar."
